Getting here

We gather right on 1st Avenue in Safford, minutes from US-70. If you're coming from Thatcher or Eastern Arizona College, you're about a 5–10 minute drive east. From Pima, plan on 15 minutes; from Solomon, about 10 minutes west. When you pull in, park anywhere in our lot — there's no reserved anything, though we'd love for you to take a spot near the door.

When you walk in

Grab a fresh cup of hot coffee in the back lobby, find any open seat, and breathe. Nobody is going to single you out, make you stand up, or put you on the spot. If you want to introduce yourself, we'd love that. If you want to slip in and just observe for a few weeks, that is completely fine too.

Common Questions, Honest Answers

What should I wear to church?

Whatever makes you comfortable. On any given Sunday you'll see jeans, boots, t-shirts, and the occasional button-up. We care entirely about who you are, not what you're wearing.

What is the worship style like?

Contemporary and spirit-filled. Expect modern worship music, practical Bible teaching, and an unhurried, relational atmosphere — not a tight theatrical production schedule.

What happens with my kids?

We provide a safe, secure, and genuinely fun environment for kids during the service, built around age-appropriate learning and great care. You'll check them in when you arrive, and only you can check them out.

Will I be asked to give money?

No. Giving is something our church family does to fuel the mission — it is never an expectation we place on guests. If you're visiting, the offering moment is simply not for you, and that's okay.

I'm visiting Safford from out of town. Am I welcome?

Absolutely. Whether you're passing through the Gila Valley, visiting family, or in town for work, you'll find a familiar, welcoming Sunday service. Come as you are — we'd love to be your church away from home.

I haven't been to church in years. Is that a problem?

Not even a little. Many of us were de-churched, skeptical, or carrying past church hurt when we found this community. You can belong here long before you're expected to believe anything.

What denomination is MVMT Church?

We are an Assemblies of God fellowship — a global family of churches centered on Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit. You can read more on our About & Beliefs page.

How do I plan my visit?

Just show up — that's genuinely enough. But if you'd like us to expect you, fill out the quick Plan Your Visit form and we'll save you a seat and have coffee ready.

We're Saving a Seat for You.

Let us know you're coming and we'll meet you at the door — or just show up Sunday at 11 AM. Either way, you're wanted here.
