Who We Are

More Than a Church. A Movement.

MVMT Church is a contemporary Assemblies of God fellowship in the heart of Safford, Arizona. We exist to see God's Kingdom break through in the Gila Valley — one dinner table, one friendship, one changed life at a time.

Big Church Heart. Small Town Roots.

You'll notice something the first time you walk through our doors: we take Jesus seriously, and ourselves a lot less so. MVMT Church was built on a simple conviction — that church should feel less like an institution and more like a family that happens to gather in a building on 1st Avenue.

We're not satisfied by simply occupying a seat on Sunday. We're committed to a faith that shows up the other six days of the week — in living rooms and around dinner tables, at Eastern Arizona College events, in local giving initiatives, and anywhere else the Gila Valley needs a little more hope.

If you've been hurt by church before, you're in good company here. Many of us arrived de-churched, skeptical, or worn out by religious performance. That's why our door swings the direction it does: you can belong here long before you're ever expected to believe.

Historic Faith. Present Power.

Jesus is the center.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that His death and resurrection make new life possible, and that a real relationship with Him changes everything.

The Bible is our foundation.

We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and are our reliable guide for faith and everyday living — taught here practically, not academically.

The Holy Spirit is active today.

As a spirit-filled church, we believe the Holy Spirit empowers ordinary people for extraordinary love, healing, and purpose — right here in Graham County.

The Church is a family.

We believe the church isn't a building or a service time. It's a people — sons and daughters, not spectators — moving together on mission.

MVMT Church is part of the Assemblies of God, one of the world's largest Pentecostal fellowships. If you're moving to Safford or visiting the area and looking for an AG church — or any contemporary, Bible-teaching church family — we'd love to meet you. Our full doctrinal alignment follows the AG Statement of Fundamental Truths.

Pastor Jeremy Scott and his wife Ali, lead pastors of MVMT Church in Safford, Arizona

Our Pastor

Pastor Jeremy Scott

Jeremy Scott serves as the lead pastor of MVMT Church alongside his wife, Ali. His heart is centered around community, practical teaching, and building authentic relationships in Graham County — whether that's opening the 2026 Eastern Arizona College commencement in prayer or being the first "777 donor" at Safford's Light the World Giving Machines.

He believes deeply that faith should be lived out rather than just attended. His focus is on clearing away the institutional noise so we can cultivate a warm, simple space where you can belong long before you are ever expected to believe.
